the worst thing about writing is that you aren’t just a writer. you have to be a thousand things. a poet, a flirt, a weapons expert, a bleeding heart, a scholar, a legendary cook, a theorist, an engineer, a reckless teenage girl, a dying god. you have to be able to write monologues and speeches and heartfelt confessions, and you have to make them believable. writing is putting yourself into someone else’s shoes.

writing is really hard (◕︿◕✿)

Theory of the Pixar Universe by John Negroni [detailed version]

Previously: Disney Movies in Disney Movies

I fucking knew it. All these funny jokes and references to other Pixar movies are nOT, as Pixar themselves insist, in-jokes and humour. Every single piece of fiction aimed at children is set in the real world and anything that doesn’t make sense in real life had an elaborate theory behind it. Follow for more posts like this including my Thomas the Tank Engine Human Enslavement theory

hetaliaday:

Since 2009, Hetalia fans worldwide have been meeting up on a single day, in cities worldwide, to hangout with their fellow fans and have Hetalia-themed activities. This year, Hetalia Day is on October 25th (Saturday).

With fewer 90 days until that day, you can now check our directory for meetups in your location. More meetups get submitted as Hetalia Day approaches, so be sure to check back if your city isn’t on the list right now. But if you want to host one, our FAQ can help you get started. (Please be advised that it’s not recommended for those aged 17 and below to host public meetups on their own.) You can also visit our Hetalia Day voting page to check where a meetup is in high demand.

If this is your first time attending this event, please read the FAQ for attendees.

There is one word that’s most often used to describe what Hetalia Day’s like, and it’s FUN! We hope you can join us on this once-a-year event.

I Love My Boo campaign features real young men of color loving each other passionately. Rather than sexualizing gay relationships, this campaign models caring, and highlights the importance of us taking care of each other. Featured throughout New York City, I Love My Boo directly challenges homophobia and encourages all who come across it to critically rethink our notion of love.

Another tribal tattoo-esque fanart! I posted this and a colored version on my dA page, and it was a real big hit, so I thought I’d post it here. For those who aren’t familiar with Homestuck, it’s at mspaintadventures.com and it’s actually a really cool story!
